Obstacles to IT Educational Practice

Everyday passed by, the generation changes as the world changes. Long time ago, we don't have any sufficient materials to be used but because God gave us wise brain, we can now create devices that help us to lessen our activities by the help of devices that scientists created and discovered. Some people don't know what to do due to poverty and lack of educational practice. Here are some obstacles that most people of the country overcome.


For me, first obstacle is MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT ICT, people are lack of information. They are not yet aware of what really is the role of IT on everyday living. They are being drug by thier believes and perceptions specially when it comes to socio- economic basis. These misconception will then lead to disappointments without allowing the offers of ICT to Education.

Second, LACK OF CONNECTION TO OUR SECTORAL POLICIES. This means that our government should have these ability to communicate and allow different offerings of ICT specially when every piece of goal is for the good of our own country. Education is one of our sectors who needed the most of the use of technology. Government should provide adequateness in terms of information.

Third, INTEGRATION TO CLASSROOM. Another obstacles is lack of integration to classroom. This only mean that teachers and other offices of Education should include that study on ICT on every Curriculum. This will be a steeping stone to every students in the introduction of Technology.

Fourth, INVESTMENTS FOR ICT. I believe the governments should set aside larger investments or budgets for ICT in Education. Philippines are facing crisis, in this way our government should invest budget to private sectors to reproduce more ICT.

Fifth, For me the Regulatory Commission should provide REGULATION FOR ICT. I believe that introducing IT to education should also be accompanied by a regulation, laws and even roles. This would kept IT operating in a legal way.

and lastly, APPROACH TO TEACHER AND STUDENT LEARNING, the lack of knowledge and information should be catered first to most of our teacher. these teacher would thenbecome the key factors for most of the students valuable information.

Generally, all these obstacles that I enumerated should have a corresponding solutions. A solution that would resolved all this misconceptions, communications and integration. "Above all, being educated is ones responsibility which should then be accompanied by Information technology."
